We are situated in Carlow Town, in the south east of Ireland. There is a proud and successful tradition of rugby within County Carlow Football Club. Since being founded in 1873 we have established an excellent rugby ethos which we go to great extremes to promote.

It is the clubs priority to promote all of the attributes important to rugby. We take pride in developing the game from under 8 in the mini's, right through our extensive youth system, up to our adult squads. As a club we want to be more than just a successful rugby club, it is our aim is to promote community spirit.

These ideals have been identified in the County Carlow Football Club Mission Statement:

Carlow, one of Ireland’s oldest rugby clubs, will continue to cherish and grow the game in our community.

Our club will provide the facilities and opportunities for rugby excellence for all age levels and for both genders.

Through the nurture of skills, teamwork and discipline by quality coaching we aim to bring success and respect to our club in the field of play, and comradeship throughout our club members.

We aim for a safe, welcoming and friendly environment for members and visitors alike.

We support an amateur ethos, backed by a strong club.
