PLAY Tag Festival
GUINNESS WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT. 
The brainchild of Billy Purcell, Carlow hope to break the existing Chinese held record for participation in a Tag event. Best of luck to Billy and his committee of Mick Mullins, Jim Browne, Pat Slater, Con Murphy, Gordon Rowe & Shannon Brown. This is the single biggest fund raising event to take place since the huge draw following our Clubhouse burning down in 1987 and the monies raised will go a long way to helping our changing room fund, debt payoff and towards other necessary expenditure i.e. carpark.
We are have a launch night at the Seven Oaks Hotel on the 16th of Feb. We hope to have a big crowd there to help launch the festival at a local and national level. Please all come along, and bring a friend to help support the club.
The event will require massive voluntary effort from our members in June but the payoff for our club and town could be significant.
